Safari - about this blog’s theme   

This blog’s design is inspired by the RSS reader built into Apple’s Safari web browser. I like its clean look, and also its efficient use of screen space. This is a completely reworked version of my Fluid Blue Safari theme, which formed some early experiments in building a blog theme. Hence its name: Safari 2.

Usage

Features
* Fluid width
* Two columns
* Right sidebar
* Supports sidebar widgets, post tags and gravatars
* Compatible upto WordPress version 2.6
* XHTML and CSS validated

Installation:
* Extract the safari-2.zip file in a convenient location
* Copy the ‘fluid-blue-safari’ folder to ‘/wp-content/themes/’ directory in your web server.
* Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels
* Select the ‘Design’ menu.
* Select the Safari 2 theme from the available list of themes to preview
* Activate the theme.
* Click ‘View Site’ at the top of the Panel’s screen. Your selection should immediately become active.

If you want to tweak
* Multiple post displays are handled by index.php and archive.php
* theloop.php and notfound.php are used to build up the multiple post pages
* Single post displays are handled by page.php
* header.php, footer.php, and sidebar.php do as their names suggest
* style.css, print.css are the stylesheets
* working on iPhone stylesheet. Notes
